Beijing, July 30, 2026 – The Chinese authorities have given the green light for the export of calcium ammonium nitrate (CAN), a widely used nitrogenous fertilizer. Effective immediately, domestic producers and traders may begin export shipments under the newly issued general policy framework.
Specific implementation rules-including quota arrangements, licensing procedures, customs clearance requirements, and quality standards-are currently being finalized and will be officially released in August 2026.
